Hi Liz, Seth and Beautiful Boy, Joey,
I am glad you have this website...I just todaylistened to Joey's cd(which Fred Guarino gave me) and I have to say that I have rarely heard such a fine collection. Now I used to write concert and record reviews and I could ramble on about Joey, but suffice to say that I was thrilled and delighted by this (not surprisingly) emerging and already well-realized talent. The songs were all instantly accessible, but thought-provoking; well-executed with fine musicianship. Young Farber's vocals were outstanding: amazingly mature and charming at the same time. Is this collection beginner's luck? A case of simply good genes? I know it is not. We have not heard the last of young Master Farber. Oops, I did wind up running on.
It was one of the cutest most charming cd's I have ever heard. Right up there with my Shirley Temple's Greatest Hits (all great swing stuff.) I am a fan of Joey's, I like the kid from the day I met him, he is extra-special I hope that he continues to develop his shimmering musical career.
I do play your cd, Liz, at the chiropractor's where I have been working to help create a positive ambience and it is always nice to listen to both of you. I also play Odetta.
And as dear Odetta would say, "Go Well, Stay Well.

I just listened to this cd with my family... it brought tears to my eyes, again! Joey, you are growing up so fast. You are keeping my memories of you and New York alive through your music, which means so much to me since I can't be there. Seth and Liz, as I share this with others, they are so touched.
